Chicago Teachers Union delegate vows to 'report' members who show up for work

A Chicago Teachers Union delegate has vowed to "report" union employees who show up to work at their school.

Alex Forgue, a physics teacher at the Chicago Military Academy at Bronzeville, commented on a post inside a "CTU Members Only Facebook Group," stating that he would be reporting members who go into work.

"As a delegate, I will be reporting the names of members who go in," he commented on a post asking members if the Chicago Teachers Union is posting a "scab" list.

Forgue confirmed that he made the comment when speaking with Fox News Digital, but said that the union has not instructed delegates to keep track of who goes into work.

"Yes I did," Forgue said when asked if he made the comment on Facebook. "However, CTU has not instructed any delegates to keep track of who went in. No word from CTU leadership about repercussions for going in."

The Chicago Military Academy at Bronzeville is part of the Chicago Public Schools system.

Chicago Public Schools has canceled classes since Wednesday, as a result of a Chicago Teachers Union vote on Tuesday night where members decided to go back to remote learning due to surging coronavirus cases in Chicago.

I like Ted Cruz. He’s a good man whose done a lot for the conservative movement. At some point last week, in open chamber, he repeatedly called the January 6 protest an act of terror. Bear in mind, to his credit, after he was called out for the remarks on the Tucker Carlson show, he appeared on the program the next day and referred to his remarks as “sloppy and stupid.”

So why did he do it?

Let me explain what happens to almost all, (note here I used the word almost) conservatives when they stay in DC too long, and I’ve seen this first hand, they change under the surface where we generally don’t see it.

DC is a liberal city where the liberal Congress run society. Conservatives generally aren’t invited to the socials in Chevy Chase, or Potomac, McLean, or Georgetown, unless the left needs to get something out of them.

The famous, no matter what they need, don’t jet into the city and ask to have dinner with conservative members of Congress.

Lobbyist will pay off conservative members of Congress of course, but generally, the money goes to the left and not the right.

Conservatives…..I’m not talking about Republicans, but Conservatives…..are always outnumbered in DC.

So they change because they want to be invited to the right parties on weekends, they want lobbyist money, and they get tired of standing alone so they have weasel moments like Ted Cruz had with his poorly placed words.

But let’s not toss the baby out with the bathwater, as conservatives so often do. (Which more or less explains the failure of the conservative movement) The above probably doesn’t apply to Senator Cruz and he seems to have made a blunder in a lengthy career of doing the right thing in the face of overwhelming odds. Ted Cruz is a good and decent man who made a mistake. He’s not the cause of the problem.

The cause of the problem are the conservatives who blundered into the Capital Building and knowingly broke federal law and harmed the rest of us in the conservative for decades to come. The left controls the media and universities and the media and universities will ensure that the conservative “terror attack” will never be forgotten.

The problem we have with the Hollywood left is it's the notion that accepting differences is no longer good enough, you have to be complicit in them. The problem we have with the Hollywood left it's the notion that any differing opinion is a threat to your very way of existence but never the opposite. The problem we have with the Hollywood left is the blatant hypocrisy of claiming to care about democracy well on abashedly striving to take control of every step of the political process. The problem we have with the Hollywood left is the notion that any idea or opinion outside of your own ideology is morally repugnant and therefore needs to be silenced. The problem we have with the Hollywood left is the notion that your goals must be achieved using everyone resources regardless on whether they agree. The problem we have with the Hollywood left is their supporting of rights situationally when convenient and the outright rejection of those rights when it's in it's the inconvenient for you. Just because someone’s name appeared in Red Channels, that doesn’t mean they were blacklisted. It just means there name appeared in Red Channels.

Just because a person said they were blacklisted doesn’t mean they were. Many people in Hollywood have lied about being blacklisted over the years.

If a person was actually blacklisted…and not many were actually blacklisted….it was the studios and TV sponsors who blacklisted them. Not the United States federal government.

If a person claims the blacklist ruined their career, they should be able to prove they had a career before the blacklist.
